Choosing the right builder

We know you'll love building with Framelink but you may still have a few questions about our build process. Here are some of the questions we are often asked.

Prefabrication is simply the process of building part of your home offsite before assembling in on your section. There are a number benefits to building a home in this way but the primary reasons are the increased speed of build and the overall quality of the build.

Framelink has our own Factory located in Auckland where we manufacture all our homes panels and roof cassettes. When complete truck these down to your section and assemble everything onsite in a fraction of the time it would usually take.

We provide a full in-house design service allowing us to take your ideas and deveop them into a full set of working drawings. We'll work with you on the selection of products and materials for your home build. We'll be able to provide a cost estimation for your build fairly early in the process and once you're happy we'll proceed to sign a full build contract for the project.

We'll start manufacturing your structure in parallel to completing siteworks. Once the slab is down, the wall panels and cassettes will arrive and the home will very quickly be made weathertight. We'll then proceed to work on both the interior and exterior finishing over the following weeks, and ready the home for you to take possession.

A typical Framelink build generally takes about 3 months to complete from the time consent is issued from council however this can vary depending on the complexity and size of your build.

Yes, if you have a pre-existing design or specific requirements we can usually accommodate you however we may need to approach this as a more traditional build. We can discuss the options with you at the time and advise the best strategy for your home build.
